How can I use the warranty on my e-id reader

To use the warranty on your card reader, please first open a support ticket describing the issue.
This gives an indication whether you need to return the device or not.

What is the warranty period

Zetes provides only 1 year B2B warranty.
We do however extend the warranty with 1 extra year as a commercial gesture.

What is not covered under warranty by Zetes

We follow the rules of Zetes concerning warranty.

As such following is not covered under warranty:

- Normal wear and tear or aging

- Causes due to external factors, not directly related to the product, for example:

    o Unusual physical strain

    o Power failure

    o Unusual environmental conditions

- Any cause other than normal use, for example:

    o Accidents

    o Fire

    o Lightning strike

    o Water damage

    o Neglect

    o Improper use

    o Improper installation or testing

    o Unauthorized attempts at repair, modification or alteration

- Incomplete return (i.e. missing charging cable or unauthorized charging cable)

What should I return

Please ship back all items sent to you:

  • e-ID reader
  • USB-C charging cable
  • The white box with the serialnumber on it

Where should I ship the return package to

Please open a support ticket first. We want to avoid damaging nature by sending over packages back and forth if we can avoid it.
